From shrinking forests. Live call with researchers in the Amazon
The Amazon rainforest is no longer intact. Deforestation, agriculture and urbanisation have left clear traces in the "lungs of the planet". In collaboration with the University of São Paulo – HU's partner university – the Humboldt Lab is going live to Brazil with researcher Daniel Falcone. Visitors will learn more about the changes in urban and rural areas in the Amazon region – and can talk to the researcher themselves in the „Call a Scientist“ station.
