Open Battery – Open-Source Hardware Platform for Cost-Effective Energy System and Storage Technology
The Open Battery project offers a platform for software and hardware components which correspond to a grid tied photovoltaic system with a battery as energy storage. The Open Battery platform is open source and enables recipients (individuals, associations, communities, companies) all over the world to participate in the transition to renewable energies. At the moment, the Open Battery project is in the development phase. Hardware and software components are designed, built, and tested within student projects and theses.
