S.O.S - Save Our Seas A Circular Material Lab
S.O.S. – Save Our Seas: A Circular Materials Lab is a hands-on drop-in workshop exploring fashion, water, waste, and marine-inspired materials. Rooted in Ruwanthi’s S.O.S. – Save Our Seas, developed through the European Marine Board’s EMBracing the Ocean programme, the session invites participants to rethink discarded textiles through circular making, repair, and material play. Participants can try three stations: upcycling T-shirts and tote bags, seaweed ink printing and ocean stamping, and weaving with waste materials. Open to ages 14+ and all skill levels.
